Affordable justice: Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IPrav develop digital legal services
A memorandum of strategic partnership was signed between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IPrav LLP, a company developing a mobile application for legal services based on AI.
The main goal of the partnership is the development of technological solutions that will allow citizens to receive qualified legal support quickly, efficiently and safely.
Interaction will include the development of AI technologies, educational initiatives, and research to identify legal issues that are most relevant to the population.
“The Head of State noted that every digital reform is a step towards more accessible justice, especially for people in remote regions where access to legal assistance was limited.
In this regard, joint efforts will become an important part of increasing the availability of legal services for the population, reducing barriers to obtaining them and speeding up law enforcement processes,” said Bekbolat Moldabekov, Vice Minister of Justice.
The focus of the collaboration is the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into the legal field, which will open up new opportunities for both users and professionals.
According to the memorandum, the Ministry of Justice will provide developers with access to current legal data necessary for the correct operation of the application, in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data. This will provide the population with faster and better access to the functionality of the IPrav mobile application.
“The signing of the memorandum is not just a new stage in the development of IPrav for us, but also a great opportunity. We see great potential in joining forces with the Ministry of Justice to create an accessible and modern legal system,” noted Zhuldyz Erzhanova, Director of IPrav LLP.
The cooperation is aimed at providing citizens of Kazakhstan with convenient and prompt access to legal assistance, especially in rural and remote regions of the country.
“Our goal is to make technology a kind of bridge between citizens and the legal system. It is digitalization that opens up new horizons for increasing legal literacy and creating conditions where every resident of Kazakhstan can receive help and protect his or her rights, regardless of their place of residence,” emphasized Kanysh Kenzhetayev, co-founder of IPrav.
It is also planned to implement joint innovation projects and pilot programs, conduct training sessions for public sector servants and ministry employees, which will improve their competence in using digital tools.
IPrav mobile application is a new tool for searching and providing legal services online. An IT startup developed by Kazakh experts aims to provide access to qualified legal assistance to all citizens, regardless of their place of residence.
The application will provide users with the opportunity to find a suitable lawyer, order a consultation, get help in drafting documents and organize representation in court.
A special feature of the application is the built-in AI assistant - the Aiteke chatbot, which works on the machine learning principles.
“How to protect yourself from scammers”, “What to do in case of an accident?”, “How to protect consumer rights?”, “What will happen if you default on your mortgage”, “What will be the fine for this or that administrative offense”, “How to register an inheritance?” “How to register a car”... - the developers teach a virtual AI assistant to answer these and other relevant questions.
IPrav is simple and user-friendly, offering an intuitive interface for all age groups. The application is equipped with a SOS function, which allows you to quickly contact and call the nearest lawyer for a quick response, similar to the work of an ambulance. This is especially important both for residents of remote areas and for all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The rating system of specialists will ensure transparency of choice and a high level of quality of services.
In the nearest future, it is projected to conduct open testing of the Aiteke chatbot via instant messengers in order to receive feedback from users and improve its functionality.
