You can now notify the vehicle owner of the problem via eGov Mobile
A new service – «Notifying the car owner about the problem» - has been added to the eGov Mobile application. Now, any user can quickly alert the vehicle owner to potential malfunctions or difficulties. This will help to resolve the problem quickly and avoid unpleasant situations.
The service is particularly useful if the vehicle is obstructing traffic, has been involved in an accident, has been left with its lights on, has an alarm or has a flat tyre. Quick notification allows the owner to take timely action.
To get the service, the user needs to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app and go to the «Popular services» section;
- select the service « Notifying the car owner about the problem»;
- specify what you need to tell the owner of the vehicle and click «Next»;
- enter the licence plate number of the car and click «Send message».
Please note that the user can only use the service 5 times in 2 hours. Sending a message does not give an applicant any information about a vehicle owner, as the eGov Mobile app sends anonymous notifications.
After the request is sent, the system identifies the vehicle owner by sending a request to the information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and sends a notification. If the user has push notifications enabled, the message is sent immediately. If notifications are disabled, the information is available in the eGov Mobile application under Notifications - Newsletters and Alerts.
The new capability was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
