NITEC and Digital Governance Agency Sign Memorandum of Cooperation at AI & Digital Bridge 2026

At the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 international technology forum, National Information Technologies JSC (NITEC) and Georgia's LEPL Digital Governance Agency signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).  The document is intended to strengthen cooperation between the parties, facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices, and support the implementation of joint digital development initiatives.

Under the Memorandum, the parties intend to develop cooperation in areas related to digital public services and technological solutions.  Particular emphasis will be placed on sharing expertise in accelerating the digital transformation of public services, including through effective collaboration between government and business.

In addition, the parties will explore opportunities to implement joint initiatives and projects aimed at advancing digital services and technological solutions and strengthening professional cooperation between the two organizations.

The groundwork for signing the Memorandum was laid during the United Nations Public Service Forum, where the Chairman Sandro Tsirekidze of the LEPL Digital Governance Agency held a bilateral meeting with R. Konyashkin, First Vice-Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation in digital transformation.

"Signing this document at AI & Digital Bridge 2026 continues our international dialogue and marks another step in strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia in information technology. For NITEC, international collaboration creates opportunities to exchange practical experience and approaches to developing e-Government, digital services and modern technology solutions", said Shynggys Orazalimov, Acting Chairman of the Board of National Information Technologies JSC.

Cooperation with the Georgian side will create additional opportunities for knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices, as well as for discussing joint initiatives in the digital transformation of the public sector.

The signing of the Memorandum represents an important step towards strengthening the institutional partnership between Kazakhstan and Georgia and expanding cooperation in information technology and digital development.

AI & Digital Bridge 2026 is being held on October 1-3 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana and is the flagship international event of AI MONTH. The Forum is being held as part of Kazakhstan's Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
