073/y medical certificate now available on eGov Mobile app
For the convenience of drivers, the medical certificate form 073/y is now available in the eGov Mobile application, making it even quicker and easier to obtain the document. The service was previously available on the eGov.kz portal, and since its launch in November 2024, Kazakhstanis have already issued more than seven thousand certificates.
The 073/y medical certificate is a document that is compulsory for all drivers and certifies that there are no contra-indications to driving a vehicle.
Previously, citizens could only obtain a paper certificate after passing a medical examination by four specialists: general practitioner, psychiatrist - narcologist, ophthalmologists, and otolaryngologists. With the launch of the service on the eGov.kz portal, the process has become much simpler - users have the opportunity to obtain a certificate in electronic format after passing a medical examination and submitting an application on the e-Government portal. Now all you have to do is use the eGov Mobile application to request a document.
To get the service, the user needs to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app;
- in the «Services» section, select the «Healthcare» category;
- find the service «Issue of a medical certificate for driving a vehicle (No 073/y)»;
- sign an application using Face ID/Touch ID.
Upon application submission, the certificate will be available in PDF format in the personal account. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of receipt.
The new capability was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
