Kazakhstan delivered humanitarian aid to Afghanistan with the support of KazAID
September 24, 2025, Kabul, Afghanistan — The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development (KazAID), delivered a large shipment of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan by rail.
A total of 26 railcars of humanitarian cargo weighing 272 tons 728 kilograms arrived, containing tents, sugar, blankets, canned meat, and flour. As a reminder, in April 2025 humanitarian aid was also sent: a shipment of medicines, medical supplies, and personal protective equipment was delivered by air, with a total weight of 3 tons 396 kilograms. Kazakhstan consistently promotes good-neighborly relations and stands ready to continue contributing to stability in the region.
