Since the beginning of 2025, over 26 million state services have been provided to citizens of Kazakhstan online
In the first half of 2025, Kazakhstanis accessed more than 26 million public services through the eGov.kz portal and the eGov Mobile app. Notably, 12 million of these services, about 45 percent, were provided through the eGov Mobile app, reflecting a significant increase in trust in mobile services.
Currently, more than 90 percent of government services are available online, and the citizens of Kazakhstan are actively utilizing this opportunity. The number of registered users on the eGov.kz e-government portal continues to rise, now exceeding 14.8 million, with 270,000 new users registered this year alone.
Particular attention should be paid to the growing popularity of the eGov Mobile application - its audience has increased by 1.1 million users since the beginning of the year and reached 11 million. One of the app's most utilized features is the «Digital Documents» section, which has been accessed more than 41 million times. The app currently offers 38 different digital documents, including ID cards, driving licenses, student ID cards, and other important credentials.
The popularity of the application is also confirmed by the stable user activity: more than 5.8 million people use the eGov Mobile application every month.
Overall, since the launch of the e-government initiative, citizens have received a total of 573 million services: 489 million through the eGov.kz portal and 84 million via the eGov Mobile app.
In addition to the usual certificates and basic services, Kazakhstanis are increasingly adopting new digital tools. Among the most popular are data leakage checks with the Nomad Guard service, issuance of a 073/u medical certificate via eGov Mobile, and the ability to send a notification to the car owner about problems noticed on the road using the «Notify the car owner about the problem» service. The «Law and Order» service is also popular, allowing to file a complaint to the police on various incidents in real time - from traffic accidents to domestic violence.
The development of digital services goes beyond simply adding new functions. The development team is dedicated to systematically improving existing solutions: analyzing user experiences, optimizing processes, and reducing the number of steps required to obtain services. Many of these improvements may be unnoticed by users but significantly enhance the convenience and speed of service delivery.
