Former students of military educational institutions can apply for re-admittance online via the eGov.kz portal
Former students of military educational institutions can apply for re-admittance at an educational institution online. All you need to do is submit an application via the eGov.kz portal. The service is free and available to those who have completed at least one semester of study.
Previously, the re-admittance process was complicated and required physical presence. Candidates had to apply to an educational institution and collect an extensive package of documents, including an identity card, a transcript, a description from the place of service, photographs, a copy of a military ID card and other papers.
Now the process has been made easier: the application is submitted online and most of the documents required are automatically downloaded from state databases. It is important to note that the application can only be made within one year of the date of withdrawal. Once this period has expired, it is impossible to be re-admitted in an educational institution.
To get the service, follow the steps:
- log in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "For Citizenry" section - "Military registration and security" - "Military service";
- select the service "Re-admittance to military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and click "Request Online";
- select an educational institution, indicate how long it has been since you were expelled, and grant consent to the use of your personal data;
- specify the residential address and attach the documents;
- sign an application using one of the available signing methods;
- service delivery result will be available in the personal account - "History of Services Received" section.
The application review period is 20 working days. In the event of a positive decision, the result will be sent in electronic form to the user's personal account. If re-admittance is not possible, the student will also receive a substantiated refusal.
The new service was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
