Central Asia Takes the Global Stage as the 6th Asia Pacific LPG Expo Concludes in Almaty
The 6th Asia Pacific LPG Expo – Kazakhstan 2025 concluded at the Rixos Hotel in Almaty, uniting energy leaders, policymakers, and innovators from around the world. Organized by LPG Expo and supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyztransneftegaz State Enterprise under the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Association of Oil Service Companies of Kazakhstan (KazService), and the Kazakhstan Fuel Association, together with Bharat Tanks and Vessels LLP as the Platinum Sponsor, the event underscored Kazakhstan’s emergence as a leading energy hub in Central Asia.
A Regional Milestone for Collaboration and Innovation
Under the theme “LPG for Central Asia: Pathways to a Greener Future,” the Expo served as a landmark platform for dialogue on energy diversification, sustainable development, and technological progress. The sessions highlighted Central Asia’s growing role in advancing cleaner, more reliable energy solutions across the region.
The event opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Temirlan Urkumbayev from the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and Mr. Rashid Dubaev from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan. They were joined by other VIP speakers, including Mr. Cinch Munson from the World Liquid Gas Association, Mr. Aidos Koldassov from KazService, Mr. Bolat Auetaev from the Kazakhstan Fuel Association, and Mr. Darsh Agarwal from Bharat Tanks and Vessels LLP—representing key organizations driving the region’s energy development.

The two-day conference featured over 20 distinguished speakers representing government agencies, industry associations, and global organizations. Key discussions explored:

Largest LPG Downstream Exhibition in Central Asia
Running alongside the conference, the largest LPG downstream exhibition in Central Asia showcased advanced technologies and innovations shaping the global LPG value chain. Participants explored modern solutions for storage, distribution, and safety — reinforcing the Expo’s position as the premier platform for industry collaboration, networking, and investment opportunities.
A Step Toward a Cleaner Energy Future
The event concluded with the WLGA Central Asia–Eurasia LPG Dialogue, where experts and delegates exchanged perspectives on renewable LPG (rLPG), rDME, and regional strategies for sustainable energy access. The discussions reaffirmed Central Asia’s potential to lead in energy transition and innovation.
